Do you ever say the Lord’s Prayer and at the end feel like it’s, ‘That’s not Deep Enough, I got to add some more...a whole lot more’.
Jesus’ prayer instruction was/is simple:
Matthew 6:9
Our Father who thou at in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
May your Kingdom come
May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us
Lead us not into temptations, but deliver us from evil
Jesus directed that we simply go into our room, close the door, and say this prayer. No need to babble and utter many words, nor pray standing in synagogues and on street corners…for God already knows what we need before we ask.

So, why do we feel the need to cry out loud and shout when praying, or even go into the forest at night, or get on our knees when saying a prayer? Is it really necessary? Does doing any of this give one’s prayer a higher ranking over other peoples?
I feel that, so long as you are sincere with your words, and create an intimate session with your God, you shall be heard, and your prayer(s) answered too. Right?
