Look Both Ways

I loved this movie for two reasons:

  1. It’s directed by Kanuri Kahiu.  She’s Pure Genius!

  1. Every lady has been through this dilemma…that moment you think you might be pregnant and don’t know whether it’ll be a keep or not, and how each option may impact your life.

Happens to Natalie (Lili Reinhart) after a one night stand with a close friend, Gabe (Danny Raminez).

After taking a pregnancy test on the night of her graduation, the film diverges into to two parallel realities: One where she’s pregnant, chooses to keep the baby, moves back home in Texas and embraces the joys and lows of motherhood and co-parenting…

The other where she’s not pregnant and follows through her 5 Year Plan pursuing a career in animation in LA with the dream of making her own movies.

Each reality has its fair share of low blows and highs…with the probable LA reality showcased in reds, oranges and pinks while the Texas reality is in blues and greens.

Best of all, Look Both Ways tells how regardless of what choice you make, if you follow your heart and do what’s right for yourself, you’ll Be Good.

Kenyan fans I believe also fell/will fall in love with Nia Long’s kitenge wear and dancing to Blinky Pill’s Bado Mapema (Simama).
